Robert's tax practice is devoted to representation of individuals, corporations, partnerships, estates and other taxpayers, both domestic and foreign, before the Internal Revenue Service, Franchise Tax Board, State Board of Equalization, California Employment Development Department and other state and local tax agencies.
Robert frequently speaks on procedural tax topics at advanced tax seminars
and before major professional organizations, including the UCLA Tax Controversy
Institute, the USC Institute on Federal Taxation, the California CPA Education
Foundation and the California CPA Society. |

He has published numerous articles on tax procedure matters, and is frequently quoted on tax procedure topics in national and local magazines and newspapers. Robert also publishes a monthly email newsletter titled "Tax Practice & Procedure".
Robert is a member of tax committees of local and state bar associations
and the American Bar Association, is a member of the California
Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the American
Association of Attorney-Certified Public Accountants.
Robert frequently appears before the United States Tax Court, U.S. Claims
Court, district and appeals courts, state courts, State Board of
